My Surroundings / Locality
If you really want to experience the desert, this is the place! Relive the "Old West", listen to coyotes howl, take a stage coach or historic train ride through the rugged desert southwest. The San Pedro River is lined with cottonwood trees, which rages during the monsoons and resorts to a trickle in summer. The Chiricahua Mountain Range is the tip of the Rockies with natural rock formations to wonder at, with some of the best birding in North America! Nearby border town (10 minutes)has an 18 hole golf course with the only 6 par hole 'the Rattler' in Arizona, plus many great restaurants and saloons within minutes, along with grocery stores, post office, Mall and Super Walmart. I have minimal landscaping care on a drip system, plus 2 watch/companion dogs who my neighbor can feed/water if you take off for any period of time. You have use of a truck for back mountain road exploration, a convertible for those warm summer nights and bicycles for bike/hiking the area.
My Hometown
You need a vehicle here, (vehicle exchange requested) and I have great neighbors and friends to answer inquiries for area and/or show you around, lots of printed information, maps, etc.
