Victorian three storey house with a large, south facing walled garden. Only two miles from the centre of Edinburgh.

We live in a Victorian three storey house with a large, south facing walled garden in which is a large trampoline, a tree house and a firepit/ BBQ area. The house is on Leith Links, a park, two miles from the centre of Edinburgh. There is a regular bus service and we may exchange our Audi A6. It is an easy drive to the wonderful beaches of East Lothian and Edinburgh itself is a beautiful and fascinating city. We have wireless internet connection. We also have a cat, she has a cat flap and is outside a lot. She doesn't require a litter tray.

My Surroundings / Locality

Leith is the old docks of Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, and 20 minutes walk from the house are a variety of good restaurants along the waterfront and a new shopping centre a little further on called Ocean Terminal where the ex royal yacht "Britannia" is berthed. There are lots of great museums and galleries in Edinburgh. The new science museum, 'Our Dynamic Earth' is our son's favourite place and both the national Gallery and the Museum of Modern Art have collections that can compete with any in the smaller capital cities of Europe.
